Both of these excellent DXpeditions finished yesterday. Prior to the start of both activities there was a chance (if arriving flights were on schedule) the teams could have met in Addis Ababa (ET) before continuing on to their final destinations. Alas, the flight carrying XT2MD team was delayed by some hours and the meet never happened.
However, fast-forward to today (1900z) and we were naturally delighted to see some of the XT2MD crew did in actual fact meet with the V55LA team in Addis Ababa during transit. It is indeed a small world 🙂
