It’s really just a PR stunt to assure the public that Norway cares about the local wildlife. Last DX-pedition to Bouvet also had a helicopter permit and they didn’t even have a helicopter !! Go figure.

I suggest you to do very short calls, QSO window time is very short. It’s much better to use CW than SSB. PLEASE I will be QRV for you on saturday 15 November at 0849 when RS-44 pass starts and satellite fingerprint allows contact.
